FEBRUARY 19TH EVENT: WAYNE ELISE, AKA JUGGLER

Dan Tena works work Charisma Art (Wayne's company) and he contacted me about coming in to to talk recently... and I obviously asked, "can you bring Wayne too?"

For those of you who don't know, Wayne Elise (AKA Juggler) is one of the most well known pickup artists in the world today. He was a pivotal character in the book The Game, and has since become extremely well know and now does very few of these pro-bono talks for groups...

But as you can already guess, Dan's answer to my question (after a few phone calls, of course) was finally, "yes, I think we can work that out."

So just like that, the talk is on, and sorry for the short notice

FREE TRAINING AFTER

At first I was loath to hold the event on a Friday night because it was inconvenient, however both I and Dan saw an opportunity: we could all take a limited number of people out after the seminar for free in-field training. The catch? You have to be willing to approach. Wayne and Dan have told me all too often guys end up sitting on the sidelines in these situations, but if you are serious about improving and are willing to follow instruction and coaching, you will be free to participate.

In-case you have any questions about who Wayne or Dan are feel free to read the bios below:

ABOUT WAYNE ELISE

Wayne is our boss here at Charisma Arts. He was the host of the UK , Channel Four network television program "Seduction School". We were proud of that show but disappointed we didn't see more of Wayne's quirky side. Let's face it, he's a man who rides a Vespa and goes around saying, "Ciao baby!" but isn't Italian.

We like Wayne's writing in magazines such as Esquire and Blender even though we don't actually read those magazines. Shhh, don't tell anyone. His workshops that teach guys how to better walk up and chat with the ladies were first written about in the New York Times in 2001.

Wayne is a a contributing author and character in the New York times best selling book, "The Game" by Neil Strauss. The point of what he wrote is that the best "game" is played by being your real self. That is what we teach here at Charisma Arts. Being yourself in challenging circumstances is the sexiest type of confidence.

Wayne is also the founder and CEO of Charisma Arts. We love teaching high-level interaction skills all over the world. Well, sometimes the traveling is a bit much, but we love meeting people like you and helping you put across the great person who is yourself.

He is one of the most charismatic people you will meet. Wayne believes he is just a humble student of life who prides himself on his ability to connect with people by just being himself, and that is pretty cool.

Besides this, Wayne has worked a few other jobs. He began his working life performing on the streets as a busker. He called his act the "Super Wayne Stunt Show." Turns out, that is where the moniker "Juggler" originates. And you thought it was some sort of allusion to dating lots of women. Wayne still likes performing the odd stunt and you'll sometimes catch him doing something dangerous and, in our opinion stupid, around the office - like this.

Wayne has also been sought out by comedians, musicians and variety performers as a special director where he helps to reshape their skills to connect better with audiences. That sounds fun.

When he is not staring at the ground muttering to himself we love listening to Wayne make conversation with strangers. It is inspiring to us to hear someone so good at rolling conversation. Though we wonder about a person who has spent so much time figuring out these details of human interaction, have him demonstrate his conversational skills with you sometime. We always learn something new.

Wayne spends all of his time on airplanes but officially lives in the Lower East Side of Manhattan.

ABOUT DAN TENA

Dan first came to Charisma Arts as a student after a very long term relationship came to an abrupt end. Finding himself single once again after so many years was disconcerting and he felt he needed direction. He and Wayne soon became fantastic friends and traveling companions. After several trips to Europe. NYC, LA and their shared first home of Michigan, Wayne asked Dan to come onboard as the Business Manager and it has been a move neither has regretted.

Dan is a firm believer in getting what he wants not just taking what he can get. It was that desire that brought him to Charisma Arts. This a role that puts him in direct contact with all our clients. A lover of people and a firm believer in what we do here at Charisma Arts he's always available to talk to our clients, on the phone or via e-mail, with any questions they may have. Dan joined Charisma Arts with the idea that every man should have access to this valuable knowledge, from his own sons down to every client that we serve. He embodies the Charisma Arts duty to help each of our clients "get what he wants not just take what he can get" Although he has spent many years as a Public Speaker and Sales Consultant for various firms, Dan still likes to think of himself as a simple carpenter, so if you don't like his talk he'll build a house for you to make up for it.
